Walker Lecture Series presents Dances with Words
On Wednesday, October 19th at 7:30 pm, the Walker Lecture Series presents Dances with Words.
Dances with Words combines the talents of best-selling language author Richard Lederer and folk-singer humorist Bill Shipper. These two sparring punsters will perform Rich’s educational work fun set to Bill’s original music. Be entertained and edified by learning dressed up to have fun.

We saw Richard Lederer on Monday and can’t wait to hear him again at the Audi on Wednesday. Anyone who enjoys words will laugh as he plays with our English language. Did I hear that our own local singer/musician/artist, Kathy Lowe, might join him and the talented Bill Shipper on stage? I hope that English teachers in the area and their students will take advantage of the free admission, too! Buy one of his books or a CD and have it autographed by a living legend who now lives in CA. Who knows when we’ll see him again?
